The American School of Douala strives to develop students that will be competitive, self-confident, compassionate, and positively contribute to our global community. ASD provides a supportive, multi-cultural environment with a high-standard American curriculum encouraging students to reach their maximum potential.

A weekly news letter "The Talking Drum" is published every Friday.  Even though every child goes home with a hard copy, available an electronic copy in PDF format. In order to view this copy you need  Adobe Acrobat Reader  which you can download by clicking on the yellow button by the right.

Memories of those special moments through the year.... Capturing images that take us back in time and relive exciting events... The spirit and the essence of "The American School of Douala" is published in its annual yearbook. This is a project that is developed in-house from conception till the laying out and designation of pages before going to print. Our original cover is a piece of art created by our own students. Events from, in, and around school featured in the issue bringing back memories of those wonderful times, sometimes tearful, sometimes frightful and mostly happy times with our friends and colleagues.
